| Piper
has continued to be a little champ. She had her first blood transfusion on
Sunday, June 24th. It appears to have helped the situation. Reagan has
been holding Piper almost every day now (depending on the nurse). Tuesday
night we brought in some treats for her. One of which is a little pink
headband with a bow that aunt Kelly gave her. We substituted it for the
beanie that she had been wearing to hold her CPAP in place. Apparently she
liked it quite a bit. As soon as we put it on, her eyes opened wider than
we have ever seen her do before. She looked around and let dad massage her
head for about 3 hours. We had a really tough time leaving the hospital to
go to bed because she was being so cute.
