Since the onset of snowboarding season, is just around the corner, I felt like another old snowboarding photo was timely. This was a back country trip into Grizzly Gulch (accross the street from Alta resort). I’m dropping the little gap, and Jay Varini is taking the picture.

This shot was taken right before my Sr. year in high school. My cousin Mark was a river guide for Tour West. He invited me a few times to come on the trips through Cataract Canyon, as a swamper. Those were some extremely good times.

Here is a kind of cool picture that I took at the WFC yacht harbor when I left work last night. There are a few more, and a couple of the USS Intrepid being moves, in the Random October Gallery.

I finally got around to posting the pictures from Reagan’s friend Amanda meeting Piper last week. Here they are if you want to take a look. I hurried and uploaded them without fixing redeye or anything.

This shot was probably in 95 or 96. It was taken by my friend Mike Bell. We were traversing the south rim of the cirque at Snowbird’s hidden peak. It had just finished snowing for about 4 days straight, and this was the 2nd or 3rd run that the gate was open, into the cirque. I’m doing my best move. I call it “butt sitting.” It’s very technical.

This shot was taken at my friend Bill Fulton’s house. I’m guessing it was ’95, or ’96. Bill was our token really good vert skater friend. In the picture, I’m bailing from a small backside air. This ramp in his backyard was one of the things that facilitated it. In this pic, you can see all of the old weathered masonite. They eventually had it covered with 1/4 in steel and epoxy paint. It was awesome. The ramp was only 8 or 8 and 1/2 tall, and didn’t quite go to vert, but it was pretty darn fun.
