Ok, so the cool old pic this week is actually 2 pics. These were taken in 1998, Sao Manoel, Sao Paulo, Brazil. I didn’t take a skateboard with me when I moved down there. But I did pack a set of trucks and wheels, just in case. I became friends with this guy who owned a skate shop. I ended up doing some art for his shop and he gave me a skate deck in return. I set it up and went skating the next day. We hit a few spots around town. But this was one of the coolest ones. It was an old mothballed train station. It had benches on the platforms, loading ramps and a bunch of spots with angle iron on the ledges.
