Nothing like bouldering on a raining evening, while wearing flip flops. Actually the cool thing about this spot, dubbed “iron gate” in Big Cottonwood Canyon (UT), is that the whole thing is overhung, and pretty protected from the rain. I’m not really sure when this picture was taken and I don’t remember who took it. I’m guessing, 2001?

This awesome shot was taken in the basement bedroom of the So. Jordan Casa del Breinholt. It is of my brother Sam. We took a lot of picutures of each other that night, most of them involving the duct tape boxing gloves from Mexico.
