Sesame Street

Many of you know (because I have blobbed about it) that I am a proud hair stylist of one of the characters on Sesame Street. I decided to watch an episode of the new season since it started in august, and ten minutes into it, I saw her! She owns a laundromat just like she said! It was so cute to see her and see my work on tv! She looked great if I must admit. Not to toot my own horn. But, hello! Ses St!!! I decided to google her just to find a picture to show all you moms who might watch the show with your kids (you can look cool in front of them because your friend knows her!!!) and I found this cool page introducing her. It turns out, her character (Leela) is the first Indina-American on the show. That is pretty big if you ask me. Anyway, I might be too excited about this whole thing, but it is just a fun experience for me. Sesame Street has been a huge show for over 40 years and to be connected with that even in the smallest way is really big for little Tennessee folk like me.
Plus, isn't this picture of her with Elmo in a tux and Anderson Cooper adorable?
