Piper Jane is finally getting her GJ tube. I mean, she is RIGHT now. They just shuffled me out after giving her my good luck kiss. I'm a little nervous, but it's comforting that it's not a surgery and she'll wake up from the sedative about 20 minutes after they discontinue the drip. Medical technology is pretty amazing. How the H are they going to move things around and adjust the tube inside her body with just that tiny hole she already has? Weird right?

Anyway, jake and I laughed our bums off this morning by the way she was acting. When we were following behind the team on the way down to radiology, I could see her pulling her feet up to her head and playing with her toes. She was wrapping her fingers around the tubes and wires like it was any other day. Then when they put her on the operating table she was looking at everyone like, "let's hurry, you see, I have these feet that need attention". She must feel very busy now that she has discovered them. I think she'll be a gymnist.

I'll post an update when I get one. I have to leave before they finish the procedure because I have awesome work. Awesome meaning: the place I am totally sick of and is ruining my life! Kidding. It's not that bad. But my boss hasn't been as cool about me leaving for pip related issues as he usually is. I have stayed late at least once a week the last three 4 weeks in a row because he likes to give me women's haircuts 15 minutes before we close.

Also, we are going to boston this weekend and I can't wait to get my hands on sam truscott! Pics and such later.
