I signed up for the Regis and Kelly High Heel A Thon. It's on July 9th and I'm going to win the money. 1st place prize is $25,000!! It's only 150 yard dash, so I figure I have a chance. Plus I've been trying out all my different heels and I have found the perfect pair. Plenty of grip and support. I'm still kind of nervous because running in high heels is hard and a twisted ankle is likely, but I weighed out my options and I decided it would be worth it. Only the first 500 registrants get a spot. After that, there is a lottery if any of you are considering it. I'm one of the lucky 500! Yahoooo! Some of the rules are as follows:

1. heels must be at least 3 inches high
2. heel must be less than 3 inches around
3. no wedges, mules or clogs
4. no altering shoes from original form
5. at least one heel must be intact to cross the finish line

Isn't this exciting? And the cause is to promote full term pregnancies! AND Kelly Ripa is running in it too! I know she is in totally awesome shape, but I'm bigger and scarier than her so I'm not worried. So, if you are one of my friends in New York, you should totally come watch. If not, just watch Regis and Kelly on July 9th and maybe you'll spot me! I'm going to be famous! And hopefully RICH!

I am so going to watch this!! You know, at the U I fractured my foot and ripped my shoe falling off a platform shoe. But I looked so good in those shoes I just went and bought another exact same pair.
