The weather:
Here we are, and here is spring! I have to say, spring in the south is really the most beautiful, but I'll take anything over winter. This picture doesn't do the blossomed tree justice, and it's not all the cab van's fault. In person, it was striking! It's so cool to see such a beautiful piece if nature in the middle of the crazy city. With spring finally making it's cameo, I really have no more excuses to not go running, right?

The babe:
Piper Jane has been blowing us away!! Her hand/eye coordination has improved so much in just a few short weeks. Sunday night she was sucking both thumbs at the same time! She couldn't get enough of it. She had her fingers in her mouth so long that they became little raisins. We took a picture and I dare you to look at it without laughing out loud.

For the past few months, Pip has been reaching for her toys, my hair, Jake's hat and anything else in front of her, but she never really could execute to mission successfully. Well, this weekend she was pulling toys toward herself, pushing the blanket off her face during peek-a-boo (not really getting the point of the game) and she even pulled out the suctioner from her nose when I was taking care of snot city. Oh yeah, she also pushed the nurse's hand off of her when she was doing chest pt!! Even though I don't usually promote disobedient behavior like this, I can't help but look up to our baby bird for defending herself and saying when enough is enough! It makes me a little less worried for her dating years...if you get me.

The two visits over the weekend really were up there in Pip's greatest hits. It's times like these when I think it might be impossible to feel love any stronger. I just can't believe all that's happened in this last year (Pippy is almost 1!!!!) considering her killer progressions in the last few weeks. This facility and it's staff is the best thing to happen to our little family. A flippin' dream. P.S. I'm jealous Jake gets to see her today at her monthly meeting. I have to work!

Everything else is going great! Congrats to our beloved friends with new pregnancies! We are praying for smooth sailing and a safe next 35ish weeks :)
