I have this really cute piggy bank (not the one above) that my mom got me from Vienna last summer. Seriously, you wouldn't believe how much I look forward to filling it up so I can go to Commerce Bank to cash it in. I have taken it down from my dresser several times to count how much is in it. You see, you have to wait until the pig is truly ripe.
The best part about taking in the coins, is that they have this game where if you guess within $1.50 of the total amount before you put them in the counting machine, you win a prize. I got this genius idea to count before I bring them in. Ok, I know what you are thinking....this is cheating, and cheaters never win, right? Well, in this case, no non-cheater will ever win. It's harder than you think. Last time (before I devised my evil plan) I was fourty dollars off!!! $40!! So, I have decided that when the alarms go off, the glitter/streamers fall from the ceiling and the guy from The Price is Right chimes in via speaker system, I will find out what the prize is, then do the right thing. If it is a crummy Commerce Bank mug or pen, I will accept it graciously and go about spending my cashed in coins. BUT, if it is a trip to Hawaii or a house or something, I'll fess up and most likely still be rewarded for my brilliant idea that probably no one has ever thought of. That, or my honesty.
If I still get the amount wrong, I'll spend my cashed in coins on a college education.

Yeah, Matt and Lexi did this- she won a kite, a pen & some sort of little keychain thing. Matt says it's geared to little kids more than to greedy parents like him. Ha ha! You might end up spending more time counting your money than the prize is worth! Good luck!
