Piper Jane, a VOLS fan.

Dress from my dear friend Jessica Murphy, who will be up in NY next month to see us! Leg Warmers from Aunt Sar across the hall.
So, these weren't this dark when they were on the camera, I'm going to see if Jake can edit some light into them. They are quite precious if you ask me. You can see the "Big orange" T in the first picture, making this Piper Jane's first University of Tennesse outfit. Now, if you look at her leg warmers, you'll see that they are orange and blue. This blue is absolutely not to be confused with Florida Gator orange and blue, because their blue is a lot darker.
I love college football. Well, the SEC teams. I'm telling the truth, because I know a lot of girls pretend to love sports to make guys think they are cool. I don't have to do that, I'm married. Plus I also don't have to do that because I really do love it. It was so fun laying on my dad's lap when I was a kid and watching Vols games while he would tickle my hair. Sometimes I would fall asleep and wake up to "YES!!!!" or "You got to be kidding me!" or sometimes even "@#$&$%!!". Also, I knew that if the Volunteers were winning, it was a good time to ask for money. Now, I know Eli Manning did not play at University of Tennessee, but I'm a fan anyway. His brother, Peyton (Who did play there and excelled to greatness), is a household name for my family. When I was pregnant, my little brother, Jesse, was actually upset to find out that I was having a girl because he wanted a nephew to be named Peyton. At my old salon, Cutler, I blow dried a woman's hair who was best friends with Olivia Manning (their Mom) and knew everything about her sons. When I told my little brother this, I think he started crying.
The point of all this is that I'm so happy that the Giants won the SB. To be honest, I don't really like pro football very much, but I care when the Giants and Colts win. I feel like they are somehow representing my home state with these wins, even though they are actually from Louisiana. SOoOoo, How cool is it that both Mannings won a super bowl back to back? I read this article in New York magazine where they did a phone interview with their eldest brother, Cooper (who had to quit football in college due to an injury), to see if he was jealous of his younger brothers accomplishments. It was very rude of them to have this for their objective, but also funny. He works at some kind of Mill or something, sad.
Jake has a man crush on Tom Brady, but was sick of Boston winning everything and wanted to Giants to win. The game was incredible. I could hear my brother's squeals of delight from however many miles away. I quess that was a really long blog for no reason. I just wanted to post a picture of Piper Jane in that Vols dress, and look what happened. I'm a chatter box in real life, so I guess that makes me a bloggerbox online.

I never saw these pictures. What an awesome baby. When I put orange striped socks on Melanie she kicks them right off.
