Piper now weighs over 6 pounds. She has been doing very well with her feedings. She now receives 55 cc feeding of fortified milk every 3 hours. Reagan and the feeding therapist have been working with her Piper to help her overcome some of the negative associations that she has with objects around her mouth. Every day it seems like she is a little bit bigger. Piper has been stable enough that Reagan can take her out of her crib without assistance from the nurse, so that Piper can be held. Piper also had her PICC line removed last week. So the only medications that she is receiving now, are being administered orally. |
